Laurie Stewart is a wife, mom, step-mom, lawyer, mediator, law school professor, peacemaker, and former liberal feminist turned follower of Jesus Christ. She earned her law degree from Chapman University School of Law and her masters degree from Talbot School of Theology (Biola University); and her bachelor's degree from California State University Fullerton. 

 

Trained in conflict coaching, mediation, and arbitration, Laurie assists parties in negotiating to resolve disputes. She is a Peacemaker Fellow and Certified Christian Conciliator for those who want to resolve their disputes using biblical principles. Laurie teaches classes and seminars to schools, churches, and other groups all over the world on conflict resolution. She is currently the CEO and President of Peacemaker Ministries. 

 

Laurie has served on the boards of several organizations and ministries. She currently sits on the board of Ratio Christi and Intelligent Faith. Intelligent Faith is a non-profit ministry she and her husband John co-founded which has taken them to many countries around the world to teach and speak. She serves as Advisor for Christ Transformational Ministries.

 

Laurie loves to inspire, engage, and challenge women to re-evaluate the assumptions and presuppositions thrust upon them by the post-modern culture. Laurie and John currently reside in Southern California and have three grown daughters, one son-in-law, and a spunky German Shepherd. Laurie and John are blessed to have made Cornerstone Church their church family.
